Focus and Scope

The New York Journal of Student Affairs: The Journal of the College Student Personnel Association of New York State welcomes manuscripts that address contemporary issues relevant to the practice of student affairs professionals.  The New York Journal of Student Affairs accepts all forms of scholarship recognized in the 6th edition of the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association: original empirical research, literature reviews, theoretical articles, methodological articles, and case studies.  Thoughtful essays and historical overviews are also accepted. Regardless of the format, manuscripts should address the practical application to contemporary student affairs practice.
